Gonzalo Becerra was born in Quito, Ecuador on September 8, 1977, son of the family humble, he studied in an evangelical school in northern Quito. Not very good student, showed aptitude for drawing since childhood.

In 1996 he graduated from college in the race of biological chemistry, following the race at the university.

not stood still, their creative spirit led him to study art at the Central University of Ecuador, one of the best students Influenced by his teacher Nicholas Svistonooff, experiment with the study of interiors and still lifes.

In 2007 he held an exhibition at the Central University, earning rave reviews of their work.

Following his way he meets Nelson Santos, who will be his next teacher, who taught him the importance of the Human Body art, sketches and refined by the use of the human figure.

In 2009 he exhibited for the first time in the Art Week, with 4 pieces of which also received good reviews.

In 2010 participates in the Fifth National Exhibition of Painting "Eduardo Kingman" in Loja with his work reflects, in which he was awarded a diploma honor.
